Congressman David Scott is hosting his 14th annual job fair Friday, April 28, 2017, from 10am to 3pm, at the Georgia International Convention Center.
145 of Georgia’s top employers will be recruiting job seekers to fill over 6,000 openings.

Jewish Family & Career Services (JF & CS) Atlanta offers four different career workshops every month that are available at three different locations for FREE!
The workshops are: Job Search Skills (1st week of month), Resume Development (2nd week of month), Interviewing Skills (3rd week of month), and LinkedIn: Leveraging the Power of Online Networking (4th week of Month).
The Locations available are Cobb, Dunwoody, and Decatur.

Cobb Works still has two of their three free computer sessions open for registration!!! The classes are held every Saturday from 9am - 1pm for eight weeks.

Must Ministries is having a job readiness seminar next Tuesday, 4/18/17 from 9am - 3pm at the Smyrna Community Center.

King Foods offers restaurant quality food packages for 40-60% off store prices. No income requirements. Anyone can participate. Online ordering is available at www.kingfoods.org with credit/debit cards.
A person/family places an order before the deadline and then comes and picks up the box at Powder Springs First UMC on a specific date later in the month.
The deadline for the next meal package is April 11th.

Cobb County Public Library is sponsoring a Job Fair at the Switzer Library on March 23rd from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
There will be 40+ of the top employers in Metro-Atlanta in attendance.

Kennesaw State University's Children & Family Programs Department is hosting group workshops for parents and children to attend. The children attend social skills groups while the parents attend group to work on learning strategies to support their child academically and behaviorally.
